This year, we asked a few of our participating chefs to pair their Boudin, Bourbon & Beer menu item with one of the many beer options that will be available from Abita. This week, we are featuring Chef Eason Barksdale of Bayona.

INSPIRATION FOR YOUR DISH ?:

The flavor profile of Beer and Cheese Soup...using Turbodog and Cheese Curds; and also Kielbasa sausage.

FAVORITE OFF-DUTY DRINK?:

I'm a Gin and Tonic man.

COOKING SOUNDTRACK?: 

Varies often but Hall and Oates for sure, Stevie Wonder, and as nerdy as this sounds Movie Soundtracks. Not compilations, but movie scores...specifically Danny Elfman

WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED FOR AT  BOUDIN, BOURBON & BEER THIS YEAR?:

Seeing all of my past work buddies, the entertainment, and of course the after party.
