Tickets are on sale for Emeril Lagasse Foundation’s Boudin, Bourbon & Beer in Champions Square on Friday, November 13. ‘Early Bird Special’ tickets are $85 and only available during the month of August. Ticket prices will go up to $99 on September 1st. Ticket price includes all food and beverage and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com.
Boudin, Bourbon & Beer will feature multiple chefs locally and around the country preparing their own style of boudin. Emeril Lagasse along with honorary co-chairs Donald Link, Mario Batali, and Stephen Stryjewski will be joined by over 50 of the nation’s best chefs, including Cory Bahr, Frank Stitt, Justin Devillier, Kristen Essig, John Currence, Aaron Sanchez, and more. Patrons will also enjoy an array of craft brews from Abita Beer, bourbon cocktails by Buffalo Trace, and live entertainment throughout the evening. Musical entertainment will be announced in the following weeks. The night will be filled with games, a cigar tasting tent, and a silent auction. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Emeril Lagasse Foundation.
Established in 2002 as the realization of Emeril Lagasse and his wife Alden Lagasse’s dream to improve the quality of young people's lives, Emeril Lagasse Foundation supports children’s education and non-profit organizations with culinary, nutrition, garden, arts and life skills programs. Other projects funded by the Foundation include an outdoor classroom, gardens, fresh foods cafeteria and teaching kitchen at Edible Schoolyard New Orleans, an accessible learning kitchen for special needs students at St. Michael Special School, the Emeril Lagasse Foundation Hospitality Center at Café Reconcile, and hospitality training at Liberty’s Kitchen for at-risk youth preparing healthy school meals. In 2013, Emeril Lagasse was honored as James Beard Foundation Humanitarian of the Year.
