Gabriel Beard is the executive sous chef of Restaurant R’evolution, an award-winning New Orleans eatery offering imaginative reinterpretations of classic Creole and Cajun cuisine. A born and raised New Orleanian, his culinary career began at age 17 at former Big Easy staple, Louis XIV. A graduate of the French Culinary Institute, he spent time in New York City at French Mediterranean restaurant, Picholine, before returning to the Crescent City to join the Commander’s Palace staff for nearly five years. He also held stints at Charlie’s Seafood, Palate Catering and Bourbon House prior to joining the Restaurant R’evolution team in 2013.
